Our History
Serving Coventry Communities Since 1985
Coventry GP began as a single-handed General Practice founded by Dr J Sihota on 1st October 1985 at a purpose-built surgery located on the corner of Broad Street and Stoney Stanton Road.
Since those early beginnings, the practice has continued to grow and evolve alongside the local Coventry community, developing into a modern, forward-thinking NHS GP practice serving thousands of patients across the city.
Over the years, Coventry GP has expanded both its clinical team and services while remaining committed to the same core principles on which the practice was founded:
- compassionate patient care
- continuity of care
- accessibility
- professionalism
- community-focused healthcare
Today, Coventry GP operates across two practice sites:
- Jubilee Health Centre
- Broad Street Surgery
Together, these sites provide healthcare services for more than 13,000 patients across Coventry and surrounding areas.
