Medical Help While We Are Closed

If you require urgent medical advice while the practice is closed, please contact NHS 111.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can:

  • Provide urgent medical advice
  • Direct you to the most appropriate NHS service
  • Arrange an out-of-hours GP appointment where appropriate
  • Refer you to an Urgent Treatment Centre if required

You can also access NHS 111 online for advice and support.


If you or someone else is experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, always call 999 immediately or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency Department.

Examples include:

  • Severe chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Signs of a stroke
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Severe bleeding
  • Serious injury
  • Suspected sepsis
  • Community Pharmacy Services

Your local community pharmacy can provide expert advice and treatment for conditions such as:

  • Coughs and colds
  • Sore throats
  • Earache
  • Hay fever
  • Minor skin conditions
  • Urinary tract infections (where eligible)
  • Insect bites and stings

Your pharmacist will also advise if you need to see another healthcare professional.
