Practice Charter

At Coventry GP, we are committed to providing compassionate, accessible and high-quality healthcare for all patients.

Our Practice Charter outlines what patients can expect from us, as well as how patients can help us provide the best possible service for the wider community.

We will treat all patients with courtesy, compassion and respect regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation or medical condition.

We are committed to delivering safe, effective and evidence-based healthcare through appropriately trained clinicians and staff.

We aim to provide timely access to appropriate healthcare services, including urgent care where clinically necessary.

Patients may request to see a clinician of their choice where available, although this may not always be possible for urgent problems.

Your personal and medical information will always be treated confidentially and handled securely in accordance with NHS and data protection regulations.

We will listen carefully to your concerns, explain treatment options clearly and involve you in decisions about your care wherever possible.

We value patient feedback and are committed to continually improving our services, patient experience and access to healthcare.

Please attend appointments on time and let us know as early as possible if you can no longer attend so the appointment can be offered to another patient.

We are committed to delivering safe, effective and evidence-based healthcare through appropriately trained clinicians and staff.

Please help us prioritise urgent care for those who need it most by using self-care, pharmacies, NHS 111 and other healthcare services appropriately where suitable.
